About

Cartoon mascots and teens having fun in an arcade setting

SNAP stands for Students Need an Alternative Party. In an effort to keep our high school students safe from dangerous behaviors on prom night, a group of parents and community members joined forces to provide a spectacular event after the prom dance, and the concept of Post Prom was born! Statistically it has been proven that prom night can be a time when teens engage in risk-taking behaviors. Drinking alcohol, driving under the influence, experimenting with illegal substances, and promiscuous encounters are some of the choices teens face on prom night.

By inviting the entire Spring-ford Senior Class, we hope that students will choose to hang out in a safe and fun environment, where they won’t be faced with the peer pressure to engage in solicitous activities. And just relax and have FUN!

SNAP is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to keeping our entire community safe on Prom Night.
